May 14, 2024: Welcome to the Paydirt Prospector!
Dear Resource Maven subscribers,
I’m sure Gwen’s message yesterday was met with some surprise and sadness. I know I’ll miss her, as I always made a point to read what she had to say. We certainly wish her well.
As she mentioned, she didn’t want to leave you hanging, so she began looking for someone who could take on her portfolio and was aligned with her way of thinking.
I’m honored that she believed I was that person.
We’re excited to have you come over to the Paydirt Prospector. The newsletter was named after the book, as we are “prospecting to hit paydirt” with mining stocks. We’ve already had some success and I fully anticipate having lots more.
Here’s a brief synopsis of what you can expect…
First, as Gwen detailed yesterday, we have many of the same picks. And our screening process is similar. Like Resource Maven, Paydirt Prospector is an over-the-shoulder look at what I personally invest in, with ethical guidelines that you get first crack if I don’t own it.
Second, a couple free gifts will come your way in the near future…
Third, this process will happen in stages, so kindly be patient while my webmaster works with Gwen’s webmaster to amalgamate the two websites into one. We expect the transfer to be complete sometime in late June.
In the meantime, you’ll still have access to Resource Maven. We’ll keep you updated on the progress via popups and a What’s Next tab on the website, with occasional newsletters as well.
Fourth, there are a few differences between our letters, but the main one is that we don’t comment on macro. It’s easy to be wrong about what the Fed might do, whether we’re about to enter a recession or see a stock market crash, even the COT report isn’t a particularly useful guide for investing in mining stocks.
All we do at Paydirt Prospector is focus on mining stocks. Nothing else.
And now that we finally have a bull market, stocks are what matters most! I fully expect to see more 10-baggers like Snowline Gold and Hercules Silver, as well as plenty of other stocks that strike paydirt.
As Gwen said yesterday, Peter Krauth and the Silver Stock Investor newsletter are coming over as well. There will be no interruption in service from Peter’s letter (billing for it will also continue uninterrupted).
Last, if you don’t like what you see at the Paydirt Prospector, no worries, you’ll be able to unsubscribe with a couple clicks.
I see us as a special investment community, one that’s ahead of the curve and will benefit when the generalist investor floods into the sector. And by picking stocks that have the greatest potential. If we’re right about what’s coming, we just might build some serious wealth.
Stay tuned for lots more ahead. Welcome to Paydirt Prospector!
